Part two of our interview with Lizzie Bennet Diaries creators Bernie Su, Rachel Kiley and Margaret Dunlap is up right here! We talk about the casting process, the script-to-video process, race in the LBD, the Easter eggs hidden all over the series, and more. Quotage:

Bernie Su: Ashley did send a note that she loved Price and Prejudice which I think did get her the call in. I actually remember marking it. I remember saying oh, she looks like she could be it, and she likes Pride and Prejudice? Why not! Click!

Margaret Dunlap: [Daniel] just won us all over. Darcy was a really long process. I think we had two or three, maybe four rounds. We saw every male actor over the height of six feet it felt like, sometimes. Just gradually through the process he’s the one who emerged. He felt like the guy we have been talking about for sixty episodes.

RK: I know that once we started figuring out who our fans were, in the Lydia spinoff episodes I’d throw in some references to stuff, like to John Green stuff and StarKid and whatever, so that was a fun thing to do once we knew who our audience was and they were paying really close attention to stuff.
